                            The Worship in the Battleground

      At 7:45 AM of March 7, Sunday, I came to UDAIRI Chapel in Kuwait.  The chaplain there warmly welcomed us.  This is a big bright room for about 300 people.  It is the first Sunday since we set out.  The past seven days see too many things.  Life skips away very fast.  However, a human heart can not be satisfied unless the biggest curiosity of the profound mystery of life is known.

      At 8:11, there came some soldiers.  They sat down to read the bible, quiet and modest.  This is a transit station.  Soldiers from the front rest here, and then returned to America with the merriness of victory, joining their family.  It is also a place for solders who just started out from their homeland to have a short break.  One week later, they will arrive at the battleground for the whole new experience.

      Everyday, we need to face new risk.  The black force is trying to kill us.  We do not fear because we believe that God will bestow courage to us.  When horror comes, we have strong confidence to resist it because the lord is with us.

      At 9:00 AM, there sit over two hundred people in the chapel.  The worship begins.
