Chen, Bixiu: China’s Family Planning Policy is Persecuting People

陈碧秀(Chen,Bixiu)
Fertility is an important process of human reproduction. Before women give birth to children they have to get pregnant. Fertility is a basic human right and also a natural human right. It just like animals living in natural environment needs to breath, and to eat food. However, the Chinese government uses controlling the birth rate as excuse to make “one child” family planning policy. They force women of childbearing age to do abortion, ligation, which seriously violate women’s basic human rights.
Over decades, the enforcement and implementation of Chinese government’s family planning policy make hundreds of millions Chinese women pay a heavy price both physically and mentally. As a Chinese government, it does not serve the public, does not change the public’s human rights situation, but make family planning policy to harm people.
“One child” family planning policy seriously violates the nature law, and its negative effect become increasingly evident. From human structure, the gender imbalance is particularly serious, especially in economically backward and remote areas. In addition, it also accelerates the speed of population aging, increase the burden of next generation. From these, the abortion of “one child” family planning policy would benefit the country and the people.
